A modified 62 is still a 62 -- #84 :thumbsup:
 
I’m looking for an original 1952-1957 1/2 bridge. I have a ‘54 that doesn’t have the original bridge.
Every once in a while I see one pop-up somewhere. As crazy as it seems, some people actually part-out these old basses:(

If anyone has an orphan bridge please let me know.
 
Interesting question! I’ve always wondered why it seems as if there are noticeably fewer ‘63 Jazz basses than either the 62’s or (especially) the 64’s.
If only Clarence was around to do consultation and speaking engagements. Feel certain he would likely turn the industry on its ear. Could you imagine he and George Barris doing a Ted Talk.
