Fender Pro P mods question

Hey,

Tomorrow I'm picking up my new bass - a 4/5-string Fender Pro P in Olympic White with Rosewood fingerboard (I'll be trying both out and choosing one - I really want that low B though. If it plays well, great. If not, 4 string it is.)

However, the pickguard is pretty ugly (imo) and I want to change it to a classy gold mirror pickguard. I feel like this'll be weird with chrome hardware and the gold pickguard, so I'm thinking I'll probably want to replace the pots, tuners and bridge to be gold as well. I found gold pots with nice abalone tops that would go well with it. I think I may end up going with golden Hipshot Ultralights for the tuners - I've heard so many good things about them!

Any recommendations for bridges though? I'm assuming I want something a bit more substantial than the standard Fender stuff for sustain? But not too heavy, either. And preferably with a string-through-body option.

It's more than substantial...it's simplicity itself when setting up your bass.

Yeah, this is the one I've heard a good chunk about. I only worry that if I end up getting the 5 string, this won't be string-through-body. Though that's not the end of the world, I guess.
