I've here searching the posts and have come up empty handed. Does anyone have a direct link for checking serial numbers for the mim and mij precision models? I've been lurking on E-bay for one and wanted to double check the year being listed on several.
I did go to the Fender site also but maybe I'm looking in the wrong direction?

Thanks for the info. I have found that at least one I've been watching has a MN6+6 numbers, not the 5 numbers listed on the Fender site. So, it's a ripoff copy with a Fender decal on the head? I might just buy it anyway......
