Fender Pure Vintage 63 Precision Bass Pickup

I just put this in my classic vibe 60s precision bass. There was nothing wrong with the stock p bass pickup that came with it, I just wanted to try something that fits with the style and era the bass is going for. I love how it sounds; a very full warm tone like you would expect from a vintage fender. What are your opinions on this pickup if you have ever heard or used it? What other p bass pickups do you prefer for doing mods?

I have one stock in my American Vintage Hot Rod Precision (P/J) bass, big sounding pickup.

Great! I've got the same bass. It's actually my first P-bass. I'm really happy with how it sounds and can't complain about the pickups. However if I can make it sound even better I would't hesitate to buy some Fender Pure Vintage 63'. My only concern is that I read a few comments of people stating that these pickups because they are very strong on the low-end tend to get muddy and hence lost in the mix.
What are your thoughts about it?

My Fiesta Red CV 60's P is strung with TI flats.

Have one in my MIM standard P bass, which I play with flats and it sounds great.
