Dude, do you think you can move up the date for the wedding? That lady is a keeper!!!Well, I think I'm just about the luckiest man alive... My fiancée ordered a Rascal for me for Christmas!!!
It does look close in size, so hopefully a jazz size case will work. It does come with a deluxe Fender gig bag, but I prefer to use a hard case when possible.Correct me if I'm wrong, but from pictures of the Rascal in other people's collections, isn't it about the same overall length as a Jazz? As far as I know, it comes in a standard Deluxe Fender gigbag, too.
All four of the ones currently on Sweetwater exceed 9lbs., the lightest being 9lbs., 2oz. That's slightly heavier than my MIM Standard Jazz. A bit surprising as they are both made of alder.
I'd actually love a scamp bass lolI really like the bass but what's up with the cutesy name? Something along the lines of Mustang or Jaguar would be nice, but Rascal? What next, Scalawag, Scamp, Meanie?
I realize every bass can't have a perfect name like Thunderbird, but come on Fender, I can't hear the word rascal without picturing this.

Happy birthday!
I'm thinking about replacing the stock tone and volume knobs with a set of dice control knobs. I normally wouldn't, but the vibe of this bass screams for something a bit funky.
