Hey friends. I love these necks, having used 3 of them in builds so far. This is the best price I've seen in over 18 months. I leave one in my cart at all times so I can follow the price fluctuations. $330-340 happens often, but the extra 10% coupon brings it to just under $305. I haven't seen this under $300 in almost 3 years when I snagged my first one.

If I didn't have a Warmoth solid wenge J neck sitting next to me right now waiting on the next build I dream up, I would probably have snagged another Fender neck this week.

Just got one of these the other day, it looks beautiful. Only issue I have found is trying to find bushings/tuning machines that fit the peg hole.
Any recs on what might fit so I don't have to drill a larger hole?

They're the standard current Fender sizing. I can't remember if that's the 1/2" or 9/16" size. I bought Hipshot UltraLights for all 3 and they were easy drop-ins, just needing the small anchor screw drilled for each tuner.

Just take it easy with the roasted maple, as is it more brittle for sure. Place your keys, line them up with a ruler for alignment, center punch your key holes, then mark your drill bit with tape or whatever at the screw length so you know when to stop and don't poke a hole through the face. Drill straight and at medium speed so it's controllable but not so slow that it grinds the wood instead of cutting it.
