Fender RT-1000 rack tuner

i had one of these tuners (sold it) but i can tell you from experiance your not gonna learn much of anything at all from the manual that you can't figure out on your own, i remember having some questions myself and the manual did me no good what so ever. just food for thought.

I had the foot pedal version of this tuner for a bit. Worked "OK", but tracked slow on low notes (below E). My Korg DTR-1000 tracks everything I throw at it fast.
Thanks guys. I had the piece of paper manual, but lost it when I moved. I just had it in my rack and ran a seperate cord.I just want to know how to hook it up to my amp so I can take advantage of the mute without having to unplug,etc.
Have no idea. I have never ran it that way. I will just plug it in and keep pluggin until I get it right. Thanks guys!!
if your amp has a tuner out and a mute button, that is usually the best way to let you tune quietly
You need to plug the instrument into the INPUT #2 in the back of the tuner. INPUT #1 will not be affected by the MUTE, only INPUT #2. Then the OUTPUT to your amp, then the MUTE will mute the entire thing. I had one and just shipped it away yesterday, but my guitar player still has one (which I have to tell how to hook it up everytime) stupid guitar players.
yea i still got one in my rack. one output is affected by the mute switch and the other isn't, not sure why that is. just run it in the effects loop and you're good.
Hi everybody, I found this thread by googling "Fender RT 1000 manual" as I'm in the same situation... wondering if I can download a copy of the user's manual anywhere. No luck yet. 
But maybe you RT-1000 owners can solve my simple problem. All I want to do is hook a microphone up to this thing so I can tune an acoustic. I've tried 2 different mics, but I guess they don't have the right levels to get a rise out of the unit, because nothing happens. (They're PC mics, and they work fine plugged straight into my computer.)
I know guitars and mics have different levels, input impedances, etc. But that's as far as my knowledge goes. Can someone suggest a good cheap mic that will work with this unit?

I know this is an old post. i was searching for the manual too. I cant find my original. The manual used to be out there, but cant find. BUT the tuner is the same exact tuner as the SWR RU-N2N, just different faceplate. Same internals, chassis and function.
