I tripped over a guitar lead and damaged the guitar input socket on the integrated circuit board on an almost new Fender Rumble 100 (V3). Can anyone advise me of the technical specifications and the part number of the socket and where I can get one from. I am in Australia but realise that I may have to import from elsewhere.

Howdy Doug, welcome to TB..fellow Aussie here..SA Croweater to be exact lol.
Put your query to the Fender Rumble experts in the club...lots of great help in there..i'm sure you could probably get Fender US to send you one but please come into the club and explain the problem and you will get a definate answer and fix to the problem. Contact your Fender authorized service depot in Australia, l be able to source it for you.
Note that there are a LOT of different jacks that look the same but are mechanically different, specifically centerline height off the PCB, front-back offset distances, etc. The original part is what you want to use, be careful not to damage the PCB in the process (yes this happens often with inexperienced repair attempts).

OK - here is the outcome. I contacted Fender Australia and it is not a listed part, but simply part of a PCB. They even had a look to see if they had a used PCB to salvage one from. They also did not list the complete PCB. So, back to square one. I ordered an input jack from an Australian spare parts supplier which appeared to be identical. My techno said that he had to shave each of the feet marginally for it to fit into the PCB for soldering. The good news is it works as intended as as per the original.
