Fender Rumble 75

I went into a store a couple of weeks ago and tried out the rumble 350, if that helps. It sounded great, for my tastes anyway. The new Rumble's are Bassman technology, which were very well praised. I found it had a fairly decent amount of EQing options and the overdrive worked really well, I could select how much overdrive and then a separate blend knob, which really allowed me to get the slightly distorted sound I was looking for.
I think the 75's a bit of an odd number though. I guess it depends on what you're using it for though. If I were to use it to gig with, I'd probably get at least the 150, which also has a XLR output that you could plug into a PA. But the 75 could work with an acoustic and a keyboard or something. Just my thoughts... Hope it helped

I just bought the 75, and I'm extremely happy with it. I'm not professional, but I do church music, and weekly jams with a group and it's plenty powerful for that. I previously used a Berringer 45, and it was just not enough punch for even those events. I play a Fender MIM Deluxe Active P-Bass Special thru it. I just switched to bass a couple of years ago after playing guitar for over 50 years. Love it.
Thanks for the input. I have a MIM p-bass and an Ibanez SG300 active bass. When the p-bass is connected to my Fender Rumble 75, I have pure sound with no hiss. When I plug in the Ibanez, I have a terrible hiss. I must turn down the highs on the bass and amp to eliminate the hiss. However, the sound is very muddy and sounds horrible. I brought the Ibanez to the store where I bought the bass and Rumble 75 amp. With the store tech, we plugged into several amps and the Ibanez sounded fantastic. No hiss. The tech suggested I bring the amp and bass to the store so that he can hear my issue. I will do this. I am perplexed. If there is no hiss with the p-bass, and no hiss with the Ibanez plugged into other amps, why is the Ibanez producing hiss on the Rumble? I understand the p-bass is passive and should produce zero hiss. Any thoughts?
I don't know, but I'm very interested in what you find out. I have my eyes on buying the rumble 350 and music man 'ray 34, which is active.
I know that can happen with actives, but it's odd it's not happening with any other amp. Did you try another rumble 75?
