Fender rumble buzzes when treble is turned on

Ive had my fender rumble 100 for a good 6-7 years, and now for some reason it has a problem now of buzzing uncontrollably unless I turn the treble completely off on my eq. Once I give it some treble it buzzes again. The problem seems to come and go, and when its having the issue the severity fluctuates when I move around or get closer to my amp.

Its not the bass or the cord, since they work flawlessly on other amps. However, once I disconnect my bass the buzzing stops.

Any ideas what it could be?

like ksandvik said, its definitely not my guitar because it works fine on other amps. Ive also tried plugging different guitars into this amp and they have the same problem.

Should I just assume the amp is toast? It would probably cost as much to fix then this amp is worth id assume. The worst part is it comes and goes, so i'm having a hard time justifying getting rid of it. But my fear is it will have an issue during a gig.
