Fender Rumble Club

Swinging through Canada next month and may grab a cab while home as my last two cab purchases here went awry - would the 1x12 be portable enough to ride behind me on my motorbike?
Any idea how difficult it would be to switch the fuse in a Rumble head to allow 220v operation?
(I will google search later - google blocked here, so I need to wait until I can use my vpn - and I bet this group is likely a faster source of info either way..)

Linnen - thanks for the advise - the 200 is great.

Here is a pic for you people.

I don't see why not.

I think there is a lot more to it than that, as in an entirely different power supply.

Well this came in today. I already had the 500 combo but wanted the flexibility down the line. I didnt realize the head/cab would have a noticeable change in tone, I like the change however. Or maybe its all in my head?

Anyway just imagine this sitting on another 210 cab that will be here tomorrow haha

Oh, I can imagine it. Oh yes! I can imagine it. Cheers!

I am thinking about upgrading the 12 inch speaker in my Rumble 100. Is the Eminence Basslite S2012 still the one to get and is it 8 ohms that I need?

I am so much happier when I run my Rumble 200, so I am hoping the speaker upgrade helps the 100 be more comparable with the sound of the 200. If it isn't going to be, I don't want to waste the money on an amp that is perfectly fine as is.

I have read in the Fender Rumble forum here somewhere where a member added acoustic padding or foam, xtra bracing, plugging ports etc to his 112c with good results before upgrading the stock driver. Can't remember what member did this a while back. IIRC the mods were cheap, easy, positive results.

I remember that also. It might give me the results I am looking for. Nothing inherently wrong with my 100 at all. I do like the 200 a lot more, for sure though.

Yes that is the one! It may very well be the best sounding 12" woofer in existence. Be sure to line your cabinet properly while you're at it.

but it's still not going to sound like the Eminence 15" woofer in the Rumble 200 combo. So just buy another Rumble 200 combo and sell or trade in the Rumble 100.
