For me and I just mess around with it
I usually am up at the 7th-9th fret F# doing bad impressions of Frankenstein
But so much fun
I put a drum track on and I am gone for 20+ minutes doing F# minor pents
Below the 7th fret 'A' string (E) it gets muddy to my ears
But it is the same with the Octobot
And 99.9% of the time I an wearing head phones
I have not tried this in a band setting
For me and I just mess around with it

This matches my impression in a band setting last night. I was hoping for better sounds at the low end than what the amp produces as a product marketed towards bass players; it reminds me of the sound produced by when using a bass with pedals designed for guitar.

Will have to go in and do some serious tweaking to make it more usable in a live setting.

If so, will sell the GK and get another Rumble.
I forget who it was, but it was fairly recently, a GK cat bought a Rumble and stated he had no idea how scooped his GK was until he started playing through his Rumble. Its just the baked in signature GK tone from the 1980's 400RB that was so popular. Since 'scooped' is the dirtiest amp term on talkbass, almost no one talks about GK's being scooped. Except me, that is.
In case anyone is interested, Sweetwater has the Rumble covers for $19.99. I just ordered one for my Rumble 200.

Absolutely NOT! Covers are meant to be removed and thrown away. The first thing I did when my 1976 Fender Precision arrived was to take off those rancid covers and toss them in the trash.Nice! But it needs a bridge cover.
