Fender Rumble Club

I'm not sure. Just wondering why it would matter if it was discontinued? You might be able to get a great deal either way. My current setup is the 500 watt head and (2) 2x10's, and to honest, it sounds awesome and massive! More than enough for any gig, indoors or outdoors. Just buy the head already, lol, I promise you will be beyond happy.

I didn’t mind that it was discontinued at all. I was just curious. It’s been ordered and should be here in a few days. I will have the same rig and I can only imagine what it will sound like! Thanks! Sweet looking bass you have as well!!!

Yes, the Rumble 800 HD is a significant upgrade, (V4 anyone?), from the 500 head. And the current pre-order is $100 off! A great deal!! You don't have to use all 800 watts if you don't want.

I can't say either way about discontinuation of the 500 head. But, if so, the 800 is the obvious heir to it's position in the Rumble line. Then, I suppose, there should be something to replace the 200 head, like this!

NOT AN ACTUAL PRODUCT. JUST A FANTASY (for now).

Always had a thing for those Japan deluxe PJ basses. Never actually thought about getting one though, maybe I should, it's got everything I want, maple neck, PJ config, Hi mass bridge...

Where can I find one?

(EDIT: You also own a Geddy jazz bass, I read in your signature? Now I'm REALLY jealous! drool)

Which of these options is more versatile and/or more cost effective? Which is both????

You Rumblers will probably be some of the biggest help with this. I would greatly apreciate it if some of you would like to take the time to read this and let me know your opinions!

Oh, and by the way, it contains Rumble stage 800 content...
Now go for your life! ;)

What is best in life? "To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women." - Conan the Barbarian

Rock or classical? Precision or Jazz? Tort or pearloid? Stereo console or separate components? Combo or head & cab(s)? Modeling amp or amp & pedal(s)? These are the pressing, nay, driving conundrums of our times. No "one size fits all". Opinions span the spectrum of human experience, and then some! Most, though maybe not all, opposing preferences are equally valid.

Most cost effective? Cost comparison is easy. Just do the simple math. Effectiveness? Ah, there's the rub! What seems effective for some feels ineffective to others.

And the beat goes on. The beat goes on, on, on, and on, and on..., . . . .

That said, of course, the Rumble Stage 800 is your best choice!

They are a GC/MF “exclusive.” I see them at every GC I stop in at. Mine is excellent. Got it on sale for $649 in 11/15; although first one I took home had a bad J pickup. Hassle free exchange for a perfect one.

IMHO A P Bass and my Rumble 200cV3
Are a match made in Heaven! Just scored this 14 year old closet buy. Still has the factory plastic on the pickguard!
Owned by a well known Fender employee. RIP. I had some 62’s (Pickup)
bookmarked and ready to pull the trigger but after restringing I don’t feel the need to do that. I plugged it into my Rumble and Man! It sounded so good. Rumble On!!
