Fender Rumble Club

Traded in my rumble40 for the studio40 (was going to get the new lt25 but wanted more presets and s40 was under $350 and available now). Good intro to what different pedals/effects do as ive only just used fuzz/distortion pedals before but lately just cranked gain since getting back into bass. 70s orange + bit of varifuzz was my 1st custom preset. The organ and synth are fun for sabbath. Love the amount of sounds i get out of it w my epi eb0 (all the options let me bring out tones in neck boomy bass)

Great rig! But your Musicman seems to be fading a bit...:)

Ha! Actually, I’m gigging both MM tonight, the SR5 and the Sabre Classic.

They love the Fender Rumble!

The head cabinet you linked to was just a photoshopped fantasy.

But, @LennyJ has made a couple, or so. I don't know if he sells the, though. I think you have to DIY.

If this is what you are talking about - there was lots of talk on the forum and photoshop pics of cabinets for Rumbles, I made this based on those.

I started with some wood and away it went. Here is a pic of the head cabinet and a DIY 10 made from the Post Duke made on the diy 10.

Absolutely - but why is the body of the Sabre (I’m assuming it’s the Sabre because of the Sledge paint job) fading out in the picture? It looks a little like you drove a DeLorean into the past and changed the course of time. :)

Keep it for your son!
My quest for a new amp is over and then some. I was debating on several models and one day we stopped in at a local rent to own place (wife wants a new kitchen table a BIG one). They had a Rumble 100 and I thought I can truly test drive this thing. After playing on it for a month I thought this is what I need but I want more power. So I ordered a Rumble 500. Im really loving my Rumble to the point I am having a hard time taking the 100 back. Do I need the 100 no, but I dont want to give it back either. Plus my oldest son is wanting to learn so he'll need a amp to right?

Spent morning checking out different download sound profiles on the studio40. Tap "try it" on tablet and boom amp changes sound. Such an awesome tech. So many different sounds. Also like the display showing knob settings as it helps me understand how to make similar sound using other main knobs.

Edit: only thing i dislike is volume difference between tones. Goes from good to too loud or too quiet. Guess i could resave them after tweaking volume.

So many sounds out of my eb0 w tapes vs old rumble40. Happy with her before but amazed at all i can now do. Almost kills bass gas...almost... :)

Glad to hear someone using The Tone App on a tablet instead of a phone! When, not if, I get mine I'm gonna wanna use my tablet instead of squinting to see it on my phone!!

Yes, I don't remember who but, someone reported here that they went thru and did a volume leveling between all, or most, of the presets. IIRC, they did it at a fairly high volume setting so they weren't just cutting everything down and possibly hobbling the amp overall, or something like that.

Augh! A G.A.S. killer, you say!?! No, not that! Anything, but that!! I love my G.A.S.!

Hello fellow rumblers! I am looking to make my rig complete by getting a new Rumble 500 head to pair with my two v3 210 cabs. I want to confirm a rumor that I have heard and it’s that Fender is discontinuing the 500 head? I couldn’t see why and I thought it was only the 200 that was possibly being let go. Anyone confirm or deny? Thank you and of course, RUMBLE ON!!!

I'm not sure. Just wondering why it would matter if it was discontinued? You might be able to get a great deal either way. My current setup is the 500 watt head and (2) 2x10's, and to honest, it sounds awesome and massive! More than enough for any gig, indoors or outdoors. Just buy the head already, lol, I promise you will be beyond happy.

Why do you want the 500 head when you can get this?:
