Fender Rumble Club

I think I’m going back to my Rumble 200 combo after using a Bassman 500/Rumble 1x15 rig.

Combo is cleaner/clearer.
500 always feels “pushed”. A bit more distorted.

I love the stack aesthetically, but ultimately, the combo fits my tone better.

Anyone running the 200 combo with another cab that looks great?
I’ve ran it with the 15, but am thinking of trying a 210 or just finding a stand to raise it up closer to ear height.

I love my 200c!

After quite a bit of expenditure, now you know. Where do you want to go?

Rumble 200 + Rumble 115? Not a perfect visual match? Yet a perfect sonic match? Still no good? How about a pair of Rumble 200 combos slaved? No? Why not? No? How about three Rumble 115s stacked with a Rumble 800 head on top? No? Three's no good? OK Four! Four Rumble 115s stacked to high heavens. Cool Beans? No? Want 10's? Four Rumble 410 cabs stacked to the second story of a Brooklyn Brownstone. OK?

lol
How about 6 like Ben Kenney used to run in Incubus :roflmao:

Maybe I'll go back to the combo + 15...

 I can't imagine why your Bassman couldn't sound cleaner/clearer. Mine sure does, when I want it to. It's certainly got the power and versatile controls to do so, unless maybe something's wrong? But, you're quite entitled to your preference, anyhows. Wish you all the best.

I think it is because the Rumble 200 combo is inexplicably spectacular. It's irrational that it sounds better than much more expensive and more powerful gear (just like the rest of the entire Fender Rumble line). I love my Rumble 200 combo because the sound & tone is so much like my old all tube 200 watt Fender Studio Bass 1X15 Combo. My Fender Studio Bass Amp was $900 new in 1979 and light weight at 95 pounds.

My sentiments exactly! I compare it to the TONES I would get out of my 300 watt Tube SVT/910 Cab in the late 70’s.

I picked up a 200 combo without the head this weekend for 75 bucks. I wired it up as a 15 extension cab. If I didn't just buy this peaveyy 210 (and like the way it sounds with the rumble200 combo), I would buy a 210 rumble I found on Craigslist. I like the way the 210 cab and rumble 200 combo better than the combo and 15". I've also been plugging it into this old Ampeg V4 cab and it sounds rad. So question... Are the rumble 210 cabinets that great? Boomy at all? I really like the peavey sounds, but hate the looks and weight.
