Fender Rumble Club

I listened to both. I hear no octave pedal. I DO hear a studio bass sound with associated processing. The combo, because of the small cab size, just can't get down as low as what I'm hearing. all is not lost: Very important: what bass are you playing? It'll be easier with humbucking pickups, but a Jazz should get it as well. On my rig, everything straight up but with the bass turned up to suit. Master vol to suit as well. Playing with the presets will get you variations. Also, the dual 210 setup many of us are using will get that low.

Well, due to the height of the Rumble 500 Combo and 210 cab I had to make a temporary adjustment. This is NOT long term...

BTW, please ignore the carpet stain, that room will be getting laminate flooring VERY soon...

I had thought to put the amp / cab in the corner of the room for storage / practice, but I am liking this location. I can open both closet doors, and no chance of a door or doorknob smashing into them...

The pedal / cable situation needs serious help but that is being worked on as well...

I started working on AC/DC's Squealer tonight, and heck, even as an amp stand that 210 puts the combo in the perfect position relative to my skull... Although I admit, I kind of miss having my pant legs blown about even at super low volume by the combo... The cable tomorrow should fix that....

I do fear though, at the lowest possible volume, this right may very well be enough to annoy the neighbors...

Hey BD,
I'm playing the 4 string Fender Troy Sanders Jaguar. I'll restart the process from scratch with everything set to 12 o'clock. One question, what do you have your gain set at?

I am chuffed at the fact you got a Rumble 2-10 extension cab so quickly!! I am on the fence as to whether or not to hold out for that or go with a 410. The 210 is stackable for height (as I prefer a "taller" 410 config) but the 410 seems to be in ample supply, as it were. At any rate, that rig looks like a monster, now go do some damage!!

We both ordered from Musician's Friend, they have the 210 in stock and would more than likely shipped right away if you were to get one. I'm liking it, but I won't get the full effect until tomorrow. Can't really turn up at my apartment. I was considering the 410 cab, would have gone with it if Fender hadn't made a 210 cab. There's some discussion about the 410 paired up with the 500 combo earlier in this thread.

Going to check out MF web site...brb!

I keep my gain at 9 o'clock, master barely on, EQ controls all at noon and all the shape buttons off, with all 4 speakers going and it's loud enough to hear, but not quite "annoy neighbors" level. I can feel it a bit through the floor LOL. The amp wants to get loud, it's like sitting at a stop light in a muscle car.

I have a Rumble 350 combo that I bought in 2012 (of course Linnin already knew this from being over at the Fender Forum :p) which is a might fine amp. Haven't tried out the new ones, yet. Could I join your club?

Here's a pic of it stacked with my '82 Super Champ and Schecter Ultra VI.

Okay, first things first, it IS a monster, height wise for me anyway... I am really liking it stacked like this, gets the sound up closer to my head you know...

Secondly, I just checked, the 210 cab is in stock ready to ship from Invalid Link Removed I know they are selling like crazy just like the 200 and 500 combos... If you can do it, I'd grab one ASAP if a matching 210 cab is your thing...

Unboxed them, took a family photo, and I think I am fixing to jam a little bit.

That looks awesome!

I am loving the family photo as well... Particularly dig that Lake Placid Blue PJ. Is that one of the Squier Vintage Modified models? If so how's the weight on the body? I am considering one but am concerned about potential neck dive...

Thanks, Dave.

That is a VM PJ. It's light but with a nice, black Franklin leather strap, it's comfortable and doesn't dive at all.

I tend to play / practice late into the evening, so volume is a concern. With the power this thing has, there is a VERY fine line between audible / good tone and feeling your spleen vibrate... Yeah the SRT Hellcat is a good analogy...

I'd love to get my hands on one and swap the Chrome pieces out for black... Love the P/J sound, and black / Lake Placid Blue would look killer...
