Fender Rumble Club

Just found out from my Español teacher, the style of music is Narco Carrido. The first part of the name gives you an idea of the general style. She has two neighbor youths either side of her that seem to have volume competitions all night each Fri and Sat night. Fortunately, one of our neighbors seems to have moved out and we don’t get that type of barrage very often anymore! Yay!
Moved out or 'disappeared'?:rolleyes::bag:

Pretty sure the every-6-week-all-night offender was the son of the owner for the apartments being built across and down the street one door. The project is far enough along and even the normally accepting Mexican neighbors complained enough that he seems to have moved along on his or his father’s accord. Being a guest in this country, it is not my place to complain, but my wife intercepted me to convince me to unplug the R200 one night.....

Got a Zoom B1xFour awhile back and this stay home stuff has given me the push to learn about it. Fun bit of kit. Making me rethink the amp situation a bit. Maybe a Stage 800? The modeling is kind of neat and that may be the final answer for me for an all in one solution. We live in fun times to be bass players.
I’ve been looking into the Zoom B1xFour. Looks real interesting and lots of fun to play around with at home. Looks like a good all in one pedal at a ridiculously good price

Well, like most folks I have an opinion. Please keep in mind that it is just that, my opinion.
I own a R200 combo, and later purchased a R115 cab to go with it. It is truly magical when you connect the 115 cab to the combo. Yes, you now can get the full 200 watts. But it is way more than that. The two 15's working together just add a whole new dimension to the sound and tone. I was not expecting such a great increase in tone and sound so it caught me off guard. But I was truly impressed. I would strongly suggest getting the Rumble 115 cab as an extension if at all possible.
The very same thing happens when you connect a 500c and a 210. It’s the wonder of the acoustic coupling effect. :)

Man, talk about options. Over here you could get one of each, try both combinations-carefully-and return one. IDK about in Suomi. So, let's explore some possibilities. Each 200c puts out 140W(max)into its internal speaker, thus giving you a potential 280W out of 2 15s*. The 500c puts out 350W(max)into its internal 2x10s so now we're looking at a potential 490W out of 2 10s+1 15*. And options sound wise when using one by itself. Interesting choice to be made.
*not that you're ever going to 'dime' either stack. SPL's should be astounding either way.

Yeah, tell me about it..
Finnish shops obviously offer testing possibilities for serious buyers, so for sure I will do some testing before making my final decision.
But like I said, before having done any testing, I’m leaning towards the R500c, but we’ll see.
I think my R100, daisy chained with my R200c when needed, would be more than enough for our gigs. And they sound very very good together too so...
Decisions decisions

Oh, yeah. Going 200c>100* gives you the effect of a powered 12" speaker and a total of 240W as opposed to 200W that I have going 200c>112 cab.
*or 100>200c gives you a powered 15". I did this once. Sweet.

Another option I am considering after reading how a 1-15 adds to tone and fullness, is building a decent cabinet for an Eminence 18” long throw 8 ohm 500 watt speaker. I always loved my older brother’s Ampeg 18”er combo. I am very curious about using this as an extension cabinet with my R200v3c
Any thoughts?
Gonna be heavy.

Attention: Rumble Club Wiki Edit Alert!

Thanks, @Droopy_TX. A link to your posts stating that the New Fender TONE 3.0.2 App Update Fixes the few erroneous Amp Icons has been added to the Rumble Club Wiki page at the bottom of the TONE APP SUPPORT section. That's been an annoying little OCD item for we TONE App users and I'm sure we all appreciate your spotting and reporting this.

Thank you again, DROOP, for for this Bug Fix update.

Thank you, @Mvf, for sharing your pic, albeit in another Club! Mv, one of your pics of your Rumbles has been linked on the Rumble Club Wiki page near the bottom of the Rumble Artwork-Continued section, with other "Rumble Walls". This is a great example of a powerful, truly pro level bass amp setup that would be the envy of many a bassist.

Thanks, vf, for your sharing.

Rumble On!

I just plugged in this into my twin 500C’s.... best sound yet!

The world needs some serious rumbling...

Science will determine just what caused the Virus. If it is proven that it came from "wet markets", they have to be shut down.

With all of the food sources available to humanity, there is no reason to eat captive animals without established standards that have been proven to be safe for the last century.

In the past, people could eat what they want in their regional community. But, now there is a global community. There is, therefore a global responsibility to ensure global safety.

I hope that those in power accept their responsibility.

"wet markets" are one thing. This "labs" thing is something else and needs to be watched.
