Ah, yes. I just always think of woodwinds and brass as being super loud from my memories of marching bands with many, many more of each. But, you're right, they are just acoustic instruments, after all. Not that much different, I guess, from my Rumble Studio, or li'l foxy Voxy, having to dial back for my Bluegrass Jams with a couple dozen acoustic stringed instruments (and occasional accordion!).
Plus, you don't want to overpower the tubas! I completely forgot that. Least I never have another bass instrument to support or compete with.
Ah, so you do sometimes use the R100 or R200?
Again, same as my Bluegrass strategy. Since some there look down on electric bass, I never want to meet their expectations and incur their wrath for being too loud.
