Looks just like my 40. I prefer 'Bocchi the Rock' though.

Thumbs up At 0:24 is sure looks like a smaller Rumble like the 40. With Yui using an MG15 then the 40 would probably be a good match. But will either amp really keep up with a hyped up Ritsu?

Both K-On!! and Bocchi the Rock have their fans. It is interesting how Japanese anime pays homage to rock (and gear) much more than any fairly recent visual media from the USA.

Now that I have a bit of time with the 100c, I am quite impressed with the combo.

Okay, so I am a bumble-brained dunce. Somehow, the Contour switch was turned on yesterday. No wonder the Rumble 100c sounded like a U-shaped FR response. I guess my ears still work. My brain, well... ... ... ...

... ... ... I would like to share my Rampaging Rhino Tone™ setting: Gain at 2:30, No buttons engaged. All EQ at 12 o'clock except Treble at 10. Now the next important part: Fender Jazz bass with the middle pickup dimed. Start with the bridge pickup dimed. Hit an open A note and sustain. While the A note is sustaining, dial down the bridge pickup until you hear the Jazz scoop shift in frequency response. Then use a Jim Dunlop PureTone .73 pick. Pick between the middle and bridge pickups slight closer to the bridge. Add a bit of the edge of the pick when picking. Use up and down strokes. Viola! Rampaging Rhino Tone™! Rock on! ... ... ...

I dunno about aspect ratio treatment in anime, but it looks too tall for that width to be a 40, to me. I think it's a 100. But, the logo sure looks wide for a 100. I guess what I'm interpreting could also be due to the perspective (angle?) of that view, too. Interesting.

Say, reverend, have you done this before? I assume you know that Chaining Stage or Studio to Another Rumble Works Differently than otherRumbles? Basically, connect the Studio's Left (mono) FX Send to the Input of the R500c. For I'd recommend actual flat EQ settings on the R500c and reduce all Gain on the R500c.

I have a question about extension cabs. Someone is currently selling a second hand rumble v3 112 cab. Will using the 112 extension with my rumble 800 cause damage to the 112?

a lot of people say the 210 pairs great but there are never any second hand rumble cabs for sale

bbaggy, you can compare the Continuous Wattage ratings of the Rumble cabs at the top of the Rumble Summary Info Chart on your wiki. (The strikethrough of the 112 means discontinued production, not that they no longer exist.) Although 7ender is known for their conservative ratings, with no evidence to the contrary, the 112 at just 250 watts would require keeping your R800c volume VERY, very low to avoid damage from its 400 watt potential. However, there is ample evidence the "350 watt" 210 can easily handle the full 400 watts from your R800c! There's also a Rumble 210 for sale right here on Talkbass at the moment.

I've been playing bass for more than a decade now but have only gotten into the fender rumbles since gigging for weddings.
I've basically owned every fender rumble V3 combo except for the rumble stage. Never been much of an effects guy myself so I opted for the rumble 800C instead.

Great amps all around and the lightweight really helps with my travelling gigs.

Agreed. Looks more like a 100 to me. It doesn't look like my Studio 40 or previous 40 or 200 combos.

I’d also like to thank each and every member of the Rumble club for the warm welcome I've received.

I am best known as the bassist of the After School Tea Time, a high school band, and one of the main characters from the anime K-on! The band comprises four other ladies whose company I sincerely enjoy. Yui Hirasawa on the guitar, Ritsu Tainaka on the drums, Tsumugi Kotobuki on keyboards and Azusa Nakano also on the guitar.

K-on has had a profoundly influential impact on Japanese and world culture, inspiring countless music enthusiasts to pick up an instrument and be part of a band. Beyond the anime, the revenue generated from K-on music, merchandise, and concerts has been enormous, contributing significantly to the growth and popularity of anime genre and culture.

Some of my signature tunes from the anime are "Don't say lazy" and “Heart Goes Boom.” These songs have been performed by several bands and artists, giving them their own unique spin. Here are some of the performances that I particularly love:













As for my bass playing, my Jazz bass and my Fender Rumble amp have become a unique combination that reflects Hokago Tea Time’s music style. The amp is compact, versatile and loud enough for our practices. I have to admit that I use a large Ampeg amp for live performances. ごめんなさい! Meanwhile, the Fender Jazz bass, with its bright, clear tone and smooth playability, is my sweetheart. Together, they make a perfect pair that fulfills our band's musical needs.

yes i've done it before and like that other guy i started out with the contour button pushed... not good. I figured it out between sound check and when we started. That 500 rocked it!

With the controls on the top/rear and the Rumble on a tilt-back stand, it's hard to see, and therefore easy to push, a wrong button. I've inadvertently engaged CONTOUR and thought "oh, crap, my Rumble's gone bad." Nope. Operator error.
