Fender Rumble Club

Mystery of the world. What deems the length of the warranty? Old stock sold after 1/1/17 but still with a 5yr hang tag and warranty info.... Wonder how fender handles those cases...

I looked on the Fender site at their warranty page and it is worded pretty clearly that as of 1/1/17 the amps purchased from that date onward are covered for two years.

Non issue for me. Got mine last year.

It matters to some. Me for one - my OCD wouldn't allow me to accept different style logos on the amp and the cab. Then again, it wouldn't allow me to use the 200 and 115 cab together either, because of the different widths. We're all different, but some of us are weirder than others... :roflmao::roflmao:
I share your weirdness. I wouldn't like different logos. I even went with the 2x10 instead of a 1x15 to add to my 500c because the cab sizes are the same. Damn normal people, anyway.:sour::D

Okay then. Your's is 5 years and is transferable if you give the buyer a copy of the original receipt when bought new. I know this because I did it. I purchased my 100 used from GC online. They sent the receipt. The amp went bad. I took it to a Fender Authorized Service Center. They asked for the receipt. I got a new amp. It took about 4 weeks.

I'm good till approx black friday 2019 on my 200 but the speaker is not under warranty anymore. I have till June till the speaker in my 112 is no longer under warranty, even though the rest of the cab is, which I guess covers the crossover/pad for the tweeter. 2 yrs only on drivers. If I get any other rumble stuff, I'm shooting for used from a seller with the receipt.

If it (electronics) blows up in 2020 or later and isn't economical to fix, I will take the "head" out for parts, make a back panel and use it as a 115 cab.

That's a good idea, but isn't the 200x115 cab built different from the stand alone 115 cab? And maybe design for different power handling capabilities or do it matter if you keep your volume within its limits?.

I have the 200 combo, exactly the same driver as the 115 cab, just different box. 300rms/600program. And with my 112 on the top instead of the bottom, I would have the magnet thingies to hold a rumble head. Next would be a 500 or whatever its v4 replacement ends up being, but would want to keep it at 500max at that point to not blow up the 12

Thanks again; l also got a R500 head now to research a way to quick disconnect the 200 head in a pinch- somebody here did something similar. I guess you can tell you sparked my interest;-)

I ordered one on Amazon. Actual aluminum logo, nice. It was about eleven bucks total using Prime. They have like three different styles, I ordered a match to the one that comes on the cabinets to put on my 200 combo so the logo on the 115 cab and the 200 combo would match.

Do you have a link to the one you ordered? All I find on Amazon is this Amazon.com: Fender Flat Amplifier Logo: Musical Instruments which is the same replacement offered by Fender, which has unnecessary holes and also is missing the hole in the middle of the F, which is where the one on the Rumble mounts.

I was a proponent of wishing fender would make a 115 extension for the 200 combo, with matching box dimensions and a less powerful driver at a lower price point. Then it was made clear that the 115 driver sounded so good that it was also used in the 200. I still want a 115 that matches the combo, it can have the same driver and cost the same as the big 115. I got the 112 instead. When the warranty is up, I might Eric b mod my 200 as well. I don't want to void the warranty in the meantime. With that mod you can also run a 4ohm cabinet by bypassing the internal speaker and using just the head portion of the combo.

A 500 head into just the 115 might be a little dangerous at 350w if you play loud and especially if you use fuzz, and/or are tall and the amp is on the floor, and it is hard to hear the speaker struggling.

Have you contracted Fender Customer Support? They might be able to help.

Fender support says that it's not a part they have available and my best bet would be to go to reverb and look for one. Then I asked what if I made a warranty claim and there's still nothing they'd be able to do about it since it's not a part that they stock extra of.

You are correct, on the flat logo in the version they offer has four holes instead of two like the one that comes on the combo. I did not order that one, I ordered the blackface logo to match what comes on the extension cabinets. The link for that is:
Fender Blackface Amplifier Logo
I lay the combo on it's side on top of the 115 cab so the width's match. So I turned the logo when I changed it on the combo. So I can tell you that when you take the old logo off, the holes in the grill cloth where the original screws went through will not show. The cloth sort of closes back up. So if you wanted to use the flat logo you can just make new holes in the right spot for the new logo. The flat logo appears to come with 4 small self tapping wood screws so just a little pressure and it will screw into the soft piece of angled wood on the back of the grill frame for the logo mount. That is how I did it, although the blackface logo only has two screws.
Hope that helps.

SLOW!!! I dissolved my band because of a very bad incident. I have started a new band/project and we are auditioning a drummer this Sunday---have had several try out that just weren't the right fit. I have high hopes for this new one--I have heard him play. Once I get my band sorted out I will push to open the club.

In the meantime I rebuilt my dock which is at the base of the club and I have been getting a lot of calls to play sax which keeps diverting me from my personal band goals. However--I am still diligently practicing bass and am mastering playing hardcore bebop on the bass. Bebop is forcing me to use that left hand pinky and improving my overall dexterity on the bass. Man--that clean Rumble sound is killer on bop!
