the seller says it's the serial from an 84 squier P bass...


can't find any thing on the net about that serial... I'm maybe not used to it...

is it legit from 84??


are they good basses??

That doesn't look like a Squier serial to me at all. An '84 would be made in Japan, and likely have a prefix of JV or SQ with five digits.

Do you have any pictures available?

serial number is: S 989201... seller doesn't know what fender serial number are suppose to be.... still claims it's from 84...

Pretty sure that serial puts it closer to 94 than 84, still a good looking bass regardless of the year.
