Fender Squier P Bass Korea?

Hi all,

I’m new here and want to ask you does someone can recognize this bass body and which wood created from?
I’m planing it as a project and want to know bit more.

Many Thanks in advance

Thank you,

as far as y know the MIK Squiers are plywood, but it doesn’t looks like plywood. I’m not able to see any laminations in the pocket.

Any other ideas? The earliest Japan body’s from mid 80-90s look similar as well.

Thanks Paul,

I’ll check all bases without pickquards, but there are not so much..maybe a custom project.Unfortunately I don’t have more information from previous owner. I was thinking a Korean Squier
