Just out of curiosity (and because I am far too lazy to go look it up myself) does anyone know off-hand if these use actual bass versions of the CuNiFe Wide Range humbuckers or are they just the standard humbuck with Wide Range furnishings?

Chicago Music Exchange is a fun store. Have visited there twice with my son; another trip planned the first week of January.

I checked their site regarding this bass and it said it recently sold for $20,000.

After listening again this sounds like a short scale.

Looking at the picture again it looks like a really short scale.

Not sure I love the tone with that scale and the mudbuckers.
