I found an add for a Steve Martin P bass at a pawn shop...it turned out to be a Steve Harris.

However, I paid a Martin price for it.

Really great bass BTW!

I want a Harris bass and have a question. I am short on money and the plan is to wait months to save some up. I was looking at a site selling them and it says only two left.

Are they still being produced? I worry by the time I get around to it they may not be for sale any longer. Also some dealers take payments. I would rather a used one but the few immaculate condition users one sold on ebay for about 800 weeks ago.

I've been gigging mine since 2010.

It's my favorite bass for playing live. It thunders like mad. The Duncan Quarter Pounder is a great pickup and you can't beat the blue metal flake and chrome pickguard!!

I don't think the neck is too thick at all. It feels like a perfect P-Bass neck.

You won't go wrong with this one, I promise!
