Only issue I see is the tort guards look cheap, but that is easily replaced. I am sure they will also be a rip off and probably even more than Performer line when it came out. Fender's price increases are absolutely bonkers.

Slab board, 7.25" radius, cool colors, and rosewood????? Well looks like I might just be buying a mim fender for the first time in 8 years haha. Once I have the money of course.


EDIT: Hopefully theyll bring back lacquer finishes like they did on the mim classic line

The mustang bass looks to have body contours (amazing!) but still the non-vintage 1.5" jazz bass nut width. My monster hands can't handle that string spacing, but could easily put a JMJ neck on one of these bodies. C'mon the stratosphere, don't let me down.

Looks like the mustang has the incorrect shaped body again (too much behind the bridge). Why do they always do that? The originals have far less booty

My baby hands are thrilled. If anything, I wish they shoved traditional spaces out the window entirely and gave it a 9.5" radius as well. My MIM Player Mustang has a super comfy neck for me specifically (YMMV, etc., etc.)

Are the current Vintera Mustangs a 1.5" nut? There seem to be inconsistencies with the listings — Sweetwater says it's 1.5, but Fender's official page says 1.625. The uncertainty has kept me from buying one, and I've never seen one stocked in store to check out.

I've been seriously considering getting a 70's Tele bass, but not at their current going price of $3,000 and up, so this reproduction at less than 1/2 price is very appealing to me.

A new Fender-made guitar over $1000 shouldn't have a cheap thin pickguard on it (especially consider you gotta pay extra for a HSC)
