Fender vs. Schecter

If you can go to the store and try a bunch, you'll probably be able to make the decision without regard to brand. If you're going to buy online, it's not even close. Schecter.
Yeah, my bands going to be constantly gigging and we will be touring this summer so i need a bass that will be good for all that abuse. I don't needs tons of tone option because of my style of music but it's always nice to have. That's one thing i like about the Schechter...it's got the seymour duncan pickups. I'd like to play both of them, but so far I haven't seen either of them in any store that I've been to. Thanks for all the responses so far guys.
