Fender, you've done it again!

Dennis Galuzka Custom 62 Precision Bass.
Dennis Galuszka let his inner horror buff contribute to his 2021 Masterbuilt Prestige creation. His love of the look of a dead forest, or even better, a singular dead tree, was the basis for this Precision Bass. Featuring artwork by Madeline Hanlin, an otherwise tried and true vintage P-Bass, this bass is form meets function, appealing to anyone who needs that classic P-Bass tone and wants to do it with some serious style. It features the tonal standards of a Fender bass, Alder body and maple neck, which also made for the perfect canvas for this form of artwork, while featuring a Josefina hand-wound ‘6Precision Bass pickup.

Yes, you heard right...a Josefina pickup!

here’s the text without the marketing mumbo jumbo:
Dennis Galuszka’s 2021 Masterbuilt Prestige custom 62 precision bass features artwork by Madeline Hanlin of a dead tree. It features an alder body, maple neck, and a Josefina hand-wound Precision Bass pickup.

I had Jay Turser jazz box guitar with an adorned neck, vines and all. They used abalone or faux-abalone on the neck and did a good job. The Fender above, sorry to say this but it is a "meh" painting. If it is a wood with a lot of natural knots and swirls and she built up on that or it is surreal or impressionistic, then maybe

I am sure it sounds wonderful but really they asked 16K?
