Hey, it is a typically nice Stingray, but that molten gold finish just doesn’t look that good to me.
I agreed about the finish. EBMM has a lot of nice finishes but this is not one of them. I just got a stingray 4 HH in trans teal and it is sweet.
Are these cheaper because they're backwards?
No, the real money saver is not having frets.
I guess if I were touring with Ziggy Stardust (David Bowie for all you youngsters)
circa 1972 this may have been on my short list. But I'll just bet that maintaining that finish is going to be real tricky.
While I am partial to Deluxe tops this is kinda going overboard to the extreme. I don't really want that much attention
drawn to the bass I'm playing on the stand. This is just fine for me. Gold in the center is good enough

Looks a lot like the Strat Robbie Robertson played in The Last Waltz, though I think that actually was bronzed. Gorgeous finish. I hope they don't all end up as Collector Case Queens. Love how the grain telegraphs through on this type of finish.

Looks like something you'd gift to a former real estate developer/reality show actor in the hopes that he'd lighten up on taxes that are hurting your supply chain.
If I had the coin I would take a fiver in that color.
