I'm not someone who knows about tensions and gauges & all that kind of stuff. I just know what I like. For a long time, I played Pure Blues strings. Then I switched to D'Addario EXL170s, because I could get a .120 B string (but I always hated those multi-colored ends on their strings).

In recent months, I've been all about Elrick Nickel 45-100s on my 4-strings with a .125T on my 5s. They feel really smooth. They don't have silk. They're not a repackage of some other string. And the tone seems balanced. I don't feel like I have to work too hard to make them sing. Really great strings.

Anyone else ever tried them? I think they're my perfect string.
