Finally got a new amp!

It's cheap and used, like those women you see on the corner but the price was right and I needed it. I got a 15wt Fender Rumble for $50. I actually quite like the sound and am planning on getting a more powerful one down the line. Does anyone have any experience with the 100 or 150 watt ones?

I like the 100 watt rumble.. Though I'm a snob when it comes to Fender amps but the Rumble 100 does sounds good IMO..

Maybe its the red lights on the port that made it sound good!

Man, I played on a Rumble 100 one time at a band practice (it was there for me) and I hated it. FWIW I'm a diehard tube guy. But if you like the way it sounds, then go for it!

It didn't. Not for me. My daughter's dad started being a jerkface about when I could and couldn't have my kid and the peeps in the band kinda flaked out.. so yah. Never went.
Starting things fresh with a good friend of mine who plays guitar and we're auditioning drummers and vocalists atm. I know I can't really jam out with a drummer with this amp, but it's better than nothing. If not just for practice. ^_^

I just like how distorted it sounds. Very dark and sorta groovy. In my opinion, of course. I was quite surprised when I played it.

You're going to need more juice to play with a drummer, etc., so keep your eye out on craigslist for some Peaveys and bigger Fenders, etc.
That 15w is good for practice, but really won't serve you in a jam situation.
On the plus side, I've played a few Fender amps and they sounded o.k. to me.

I have played through and am frequently at practices where the Fender 100 Rumble is played. It has a good sound. Pretty powerful and easily transportable.

I got a rumble 30. I picked it up for small jams and practice at home with headphones. For a solid state amp, it does have a pretty good tone. It's all mids that make it that way. The "bass" is low mids, then mids and "treble" is really just high mids.

They're cool, little amps. I was surprised.
