Finally got my new amp and cab (pics)

Well, after a few months of research, playing, flip flopping back and forth I finally got my new amp and cabinet. Got the amp off Ebay (it was new but had a couple minor scratches on the top of the amp) and the cabinet drop shipped direct from the factory. I have had the bass for about 3 or 4 years now and have been playing through a GK 400-210RB combo and figured it was time to upgrade to something bigger and better.

I ended up with an Ampeg SVT 2 Pro and a Bergantino NV610. I had never played either of these two items prior to purchasing but based on what I have played and the recommendations I received here and other places I just decided to do it and buy them and I couldn't be happier. They sound awesome together.

I just figured I would share with people here who can appreciate it. Most other people I tell about it say stuff like "is that for your guitar?", "What is an Ampeg?", and "Why tubes? Aren't they out dated?".

Again, thanks to everyone here for the recommendations.

Well, I had a bit of a chance to crank it last night but still had to keep it fairly quiet. I had to play for the worship band for our church's youth group last night. I played there for years but I had a couple of the students playing this year. But it was the first time I got to play with other people with my new gear. Gotta say it sounded amazing. And overall I think it helped the overall sound of the band as well.

Now I just gotta crank it with my real band and see what it can do. Can't say enough about how awesome it sounds.
