Finally tried La Bella Depp Talkin Flats

And man..... they are incredible! Even fresh without any time to settle, they sound amazing! I've tried all sorts of other flats, and have always been somewhat happy with them, but I am now a life long La Bella fan! Why didn't anyone tell me about how great they are? :roflmao:

But seriously, wanted to share my excitement with someone since my wife couldn't care less.

That's exactly what I said when I put the 760FL on my then-brand-new P bass five and a half years ago. But the true test of any string is how they do in a live band mix... I eventually did move on to greener pastures, which are always on the other side of the fence. ;)

Still using the LaBella 760FS set on my Precision. I've tried other flats on it, and they fell...flat on their faces.
I still use D'Addario Chromes on the other two basses, but the Labella 760FS set is the only set that works on the Precision. Weird.

LOL. Wives eh! Actually my sweetie has a keen ear for the bass. She's the primary singer and rhythm guitarist in our trio and won't let me get away with bad sound.
