an example of this - the 2nd to last bar of the opening passage in marriage of figaro. i've used the fingering 1-1-2-2-4-4-1-0 for the E-D#-E-F#-G-F#-E-D pretty effectively. very counterintuitive, but somehow it sounds even for me.
I am just playing this overture. It is hard to find a good fingering for the whole piece, also because there are so many options.
I have been trying to find the 'fastest' fingering for this specific passage.
Right now it is: 2,1,2,2,4,2,1,0
because of the speed you don't have any time to think, it has to go automatic.
I totally agree with you about the coordination between left and right hand.
