Fingers of left hand

My qüestion is: should I put my fingers (left hand) bent on the neck or plane, I mean perpendicular or parallel in relation to the neck? I think parallel is the best option but how am I supposed to put my middle finger? (Because it's longer than the rest)

Yup. While fingers straight can be good for muting, you should practice curving your fingers so they all can rest along the same string.

Edit: thinking about it - how would you even place your fingers parallel to the strings?

The tip is the smallest part of the finger, thus, that is the part that should be fretting the string.
