fingerstyle players - what effects do you use?

Well I play with both my fingers and a pick. Sometimes at the same time too. I don't use any effects at all usually..... but I can still post anywhere I like :D

I've tried distortion, envelop filter & chorus pedals which are ok for specialist applications but I've never had a use for them otherwise.

Many bassists have told me they think that distortion pedals suck out your bottom end massively. Do you guys agree with this ???

Some do...the better ones don't
