Finish Crack Question

So I bought a new Spector Euro from a music store on ebay. When the seller was preparing to pack to ship it he noticed a crack in the finish near the control cavity so he made me aware of it and we worked out a deal where he knocked $150 off of the bass. When it showed up today I noticed there were more cracks on the other side of the control cavity as well. It looks like it is only a crack in the finish but it worries me because the cracks are in line with each other crossing the control cavity which is obviously a weak point as it's hollow. I'm wondering if it's coincidental or if this would be a sign that there's cracking in the wood as well. Also if these are just finish cracks and nothing structural then do I need to worry about the finish cracking off? Is there anything that can be done to repair the finish cracking? Here are some pictures so you have a better idea of what I am talking about

First crack (the one that was disclosed to me):

Second crack:

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!
