first audition

so i've been playing bass in a garage band for a while, well i finally got a call to have an audition for a band thats a little more known in north dakota, anyways he asked me to learn 4 of their songs in a week, well i just heard them on sunday, and i have til friday. he also said that it would help if i knew some scales. i'm starting to freak out because i'm not that knowledgable w/ scales. what are some good ones for me to learn? he mentioned major pentatonic and that it what else? how do i keep calm? What if i cannot learn their songs by friday? ahhhh...
thanks
