This is my first bass guitar. It is a Bently 5 String Fretless, made in Korea. It's been in storage for probably 20 years! We bought it new and I played Ernie Ball Slinkys on it and wore it out within a few years. To my own ignorance, all I had to do was sand the fretboard down some to smooth it out. Now, I'm trying to get it back going again. It needs a new input jack, new nut, and strings of course. I have ordered all and awaiting their arrival to bring this bass bask out and play it! The string choice I went with is the Ernie Ball Slinky Cobalt Flatwounds. Any of you guys ever seen one of these? I haven't found them anywhere online. I removed the stickers last night and cleaned it up a bit.
