First bass lesson…

The young lady who sings in our, #staurosalive group, is a single mother… takes care of her 4y/o, virtually, by herself. We (my wife, myself, she & her son) have gotten quite close over the past year-ish…

I, recently, picked up a Squier Mini P… refinned (as I’ve done with several other basses) in Sonic Blue… decided to present to him! Also picked up a Fender Rumble (older model) amp

My son is 5. He’s got little interest in stringed instruments. Gravitating more towards keys and percussion. We got him a cajon and he can keep a surprisingly steady beat. I secretly hope he’ll be a drummer so we can jam… but don’t want to push too hard or I’ll scare him away!
