Well my hand has been forced well and truly.. For the longest time I've build guitars for others but never got around to making one for myself.. The main reason I guess is that I'm a lefty and everything I've made so far is right handed..
Yesterday I had a knock on the door, it was the guy come to pick up the bass I made for him and he presented me this as a thanks..
I'm 67 and never learned to play, a bit daunting but hey so I'm told you're never to young to learn.. He said he'll throw in some lessons and another bassist I know said he'll help as well..
My days of thinking I'll be a rock star are well and truly gone but if I can pluck away and learn some basic stuff and not terrify the cat I'll be happy..
