I imagine you're aware that it looks almost identical to a Jerzy Drozd, 28-fret version? Including having the abstract cutouts on the bass side?

One thing I'd consider is not doing that 'bump out' where the lower horn and neck/body meet. It seems that would get in the way. Otherwise, I like your design!

and what I find strange is that it is relatively cheap.. if I'll build my body from those 5 strips and 4 mahogany parts for the wings, it'll cost me 85 dollars (without the top). And if I would order a 2 piece mahogany body blank I'll be set back 170 dollars.. yeah, and i do ever so like the looks of thoughs kinda squished bodys. like they were the same size and then just compacted. im thinkin about doin that sometime
so that little design on the top, how are you going to go about that? route and fill it with a contrasting piece of wood? something synthetic?
