First Build! Guitar for my brother

That's beautiful! I hope to start building a guitar in maybe 2 weeks. My only concern is the bridge. How hard was it to rout out the trem cavity? If it's too much bother I might just go with a TOM and tailpiece. Otherwise, I äm getting an FR. In any case, gratz! How does it sound, and more importantly, how does it FEEL?

Very nice work. I see a career in luthierie ahead for you. Makes me jealous, LOL, that sort of stuff wasn't even thought of when I was a pup. What kind of finish did you use?

I used Minwax wipe-on poly. Then I buffed it a bit with feed-n-wax for a semi-gloss. I didn't want ridiculous shine but I wanted it to feel good, and it feels great!
