I haven't worked with this particular one but the drivers from Oberton I did work with are all excellent.
The 15" driver I mentioned does need a tweeter(6" mid?) if you want the typical "slap 'n pop" zing, for "dirty" fingerstyle/pick rocktones it could work great because of the 1.2khz peak. If it needs to go up to 2-3khz I would use this one Invalid Link Removed or this one Invalid Link Removed
The latter is a ferrite driver with the not so common combination of extended mids and extended xmax.

Btw. there's no distributor in the US....but I did see that they now have a distributor in the UK, seems they are expanding :)

A great 15" driver that really punches in the lows would be this one:

I just contacted them, and they informed me that they will have a big order in the next 2-3 days, so if I am interested they can add a speaker. As I can see, the 15XB700 is in my prince range (and so may be the 15NXB700). How would you compare it to the others?

Oh, I just saw your post mentioning that it needs a tweeter... :( I want a single driver.

You mean to the 3015LF and the Faital 15PR400?
If you have the amp power, the 15XB700 will blow the others out of the water as far as low-end performance goes.
The question now for me is, what do you really want, a single driver cabinet that doesn't need any highs(and upper mids(), then the 15BX700 could work out great. If you think it needs more mid/highs I would choose Invalid Link Removed , it has the best combination of good mid/high response and mechanical robustness(xmax).

A conversation for another thread, or a PM maybe, but have you modeled the 3015LF next to the 15XB and 15NXB? I am not seeing a big difference in performance, but I am using some freeware to do the modeling.

On paper you may not see much improvement, but the largest difference will be power compression and mechanical robustness.
If you really want to give the others a kick in the n... then choose this 18" driver Invalid Link Removed
This puppy needs an enclosure as big as the 3015LF (fearfull) but will shove a bit more air (if you have the amp power)

Both are great drivers but for bassguitar the 15MB500 would be the better choice, it will give slightly more "oomph" in the upper bass and has a better mid/high response.
A cab of 100-120 liters tuned to 45hz will give great results.

Eminence does measurements(10% distortion, Klippel)
Oberton uses this:
Linear Mathematical Xmax is calculated as: (Hvc - Hg)/2 + Hg/4 where Hvc is the voice coil depth and Hg is the gap depth.

Allthough the Klippel method is the most accurate I've owned several Eminence drivers that IME weren't robust mechanically. E.g. the Alpha8a has an xmax of 3.2mm but from experience I know that this driver can't handle anything above that. The same goes for the Deltalite 2510 MKII, it should have an xmax of 4.2mm but IME the distortion is already audible at those 4mm and increase exponentially when you get over this threshold. When I got my first Oberton driver (10B200, xmax 5.75mm) I compared it side by side with the Deltalite and the Oberton started to show the first signs of audible distortion when it's excursion was twice that of the Deltalite.....
