SireI have an opportunity to pick up a first gen classic vibe 60s p bass locally for more or less the same price as a sire p5/R. Which one should I shoot for?
No surprise, because current day Indonesia Squier Classic Vibe are rebranded vintage modified line.I went to Andertons music today to take a look at a sire p5r and a squire classic vibe 60s p bass. I played both basses. Well the sire was head and shoilders above the squire and i could get a very simular sound for the p bass sound. Andertons music would not price match Thomann andertons say they price match. so ive ordered up one from Thoman music on a 5 day back order. I ve purchased from andertons many times and had great deals. This time no good.
