So im playing my first ever gig with my band, we're like a metallica influenced metal band. So excited, got the whole leather jacket look and everything, anything i should know before i plunge into the world of gigging?
If...the crowd isnt reacting...do like I do, give 150 %, smile, and say ******* ! It's the only word you can say while smiling. You're trying it now, arent you?
Like Douglas Adams said, always know where your towel is.
Seriously, if you have a leather jacket on you're going to need a towel.
And a litre or two of water.
And perhaps a spare towel.
Oh, and maybe a change of clothes for afterwards.
Really. If you play metal, it can be seriously physical and a real workout.

Focus on your parts and playing your best.
You will look foolish in your leather jacket if your up there making mistakes.
