First gig tommorrow, so excited.

Go to the bathroom BEFORE you go on stage....nothing worse than during the second song and you gotta take a leak, but you're staring down the rest of a 40 min set........

A little late for advice but in case none of these things occured to you, they may be useful for the next gig:

1 - Smile while playing - if you look like you are having fun, the audience will more likely have fun too
2 - have water or apple juice on stage to sip on - staying hydrated is important (and the sugar in the juice helps the energy without the jitters of caffeine)
3 - know your stuff inside out before the gig so you can focus on delivery and stage presence during the gig
4 - on your set list, put in notes if you need them such as what pedals are used, amp settings, stuff like that.
5 - have a small clean rag within reach. I sweat a lot during performances and it helps to wipe down the neck of my bass occasionally to keep it from getting sticky.
6 - set up a small fan on the floor to give you some breeze, and a small light to light up your notes if you have any

All good advice, except that it's a metal band - #1 should read "Grimace," not "Smile."

like as been said above, if you do a bum note or if someone loses there place...just keep playing, never stop...stick with the drummer and stay tight and dont worry about the others looking good. Keep half an eye on the singer if he is going around again or if the guitarist is lengthening his break be ready to change with them..

always stay minutely behind the one to be safe

if you have to go leather put some wrist sweat bands on....if you over heat and your fingers get slippery you might have an issue

Stage presence is key. No one came to see u stand in one spot. Own your side of the stage; even with a few missed notes, confidence will carry your performance much farther than hitting everything perfect and being too timid to perform.

Energy, movement, and crowd interaction.
