First Parts Bass Build

For bass wiring I've used the kits from basspartsresource.com.

They come with CTS 250k pots, a switchcraft jack, a .047 orange drop cap, and you can get either the cloth or plastic wrapped wiring.

I've used these kits on 2 different builds, and have had great luck with them.

So after doing some research, I'm now confused on which pickups I want
I've searched around here as well as youtube and I can't really decide between SD Antiquity II, Fender '62 RI, and SD SPB-1

I guess I just don't know if the antiquity is worth an extra $45 over the SPB-1. If I got the SPB-1 or the '62 RI, I could go ahead and buy them and a wiring kit and get started on this, but if I wanted to wait on the Antiquity it would be April 1 before I could order, so is it worth the wait? I want to do this right since I don't plan on selling this bass once I'm done and would rather just do it right the first time.

With this buil I really want to have a very smooth, mellow, organic kind of sound.

So, thoughts?

I can feel your pain. There is no 'best' pickup. But given your curiosity, I'd say any. No matter what you put in there, you'll still be curious about your other options, and you'll eventually go there too.

I have looked at them, and I really like the more vintage tone of the ones I listed
