The first song that I learned, start to finish, was surely "Under My Wheels" by Alice Cooper...after that, almost surely, "Halleluiah, I Just Love Her So"; the Humble pie cover of that great
Ray Charles song. Almost 40 years later I found myself in a band that sort of leaned toward Ray Charles in everything we did. "Halleluiah" was one of the first covers I suggested. We had a great time with it...and it probably sounded a lot better than Ricky and Gary and I beating it to death in 1971...
