First Stack need opinions.... please

The orange bass terror is perfect, its 8ohm which basically means you can add another cab easily if you ever need to expand. It sounds uh-mayyyy-zing, is loud for its size, and light! For a first rig, it's really high quality and I think you would be very satisfied.
Its also $1400.00, which is one schweeeet buy, but if you are interested in the Acoustic amps, they are great for the price. you can get a 1x15 cab, a 4x10, and a B200H head for $700 new if I remember correctly.
Ah, there you go! http://bass-guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Acoustic-B410-400W-4x10-Bass-Cabinet?sku=600775

Everything there is all IMO and all that (in my opinion) of course.

The 7 PRO's haven't had a great track record so far... early days tho.

True, but I own one and haven't had any issues. I run it through the new Avatar TB153. I can say enough about this cab! There is a 40+ page thread on it if you search. It's a 3-way cab with a Eminence 3015LF 15" woofer, 6" mid driver, and tweeter. HANDLES the low B. Right now is at an intro price of $399, but will go up to $499 soon. I would gladly pay twice the amount for this cab. And with the SVT-7 driving it, wow. You'll end up with a better cab for less if you opt for the Avatar.

ok so if i get this... what kind head do i need and it has to be the same brand... im ocd about that lol

this is the cab... now i need a head and should i choose 4 ohms or 8ohm it comes in both... for some reason i am thinking 4ohms

http://bass-guitars.musiciansfriend....ead?sku=423659 will this work with the previous posted stack?

Yeah i finally figured out what IMO means lol it came to me then i slapped myself in the forehead for asking lol

allow me to quote you:

"now i need a head and should i choose 4 ohms or 8ohm it comes in both..."

don't blame me for your inability to communicate properly. and you're welcome.
well no good deed goes unpunished,it is said........as quick google of spokane wa. say there are two gc's and iirc that's right next door to idaho.....i saw a megoliath 8x10 in their used stuff,and if its still there @$699. it leaves $801. for a decent used head.....i'd worry less about brand matching,imho....ocd doesn't hear all that good....

It's really worth your while to spend an hour or so reading the stickied AMPS FAQ at the top of this forum. People are being really helpful but every answer will throw up another question on your part unless you understand the concepts yourself. You WILL thank yourself in the future when presented with a situation where you have to hook up a borrowed or strange backline rig, etc. etc.

Hope this helps, it's meant in the best spirit.

BTW I can't get your last two links to work for me.

I learned something by that link above ↑ :::

Gallien-Krueger 410MBE 800W 4x10 Ultralight Bass Speaker Cabinet with Horn Features:

* Compact design
* Reduced weight
* Made to match other GK gear
* Available in 4 and 8 ohms
* 800 watts
* Speakon and 1/4" inputs
* Four 10" neodymium speakers with piezo tweeter

.... and although I am not a fan of GK gear because I find it's too glassy and bright - modern really - I think that's a great combo.

Light weight too.

Nice catch if this is the sound you want.
