Just purchased my first bass EVER with tort! It's an Ibanez TMB310. Will it give me all the superpowers of deceased bassists who came before me?? Does it make the bass self-aware? (a vorpal bass) Do I have to register it with any kind of Tort Society? This is so exciting!... Please walk me through this pivotal moment in my life. It should be arriving next week. I need to be prepared.

Looks really nice. The TMBs have that "is it modern or is it classic??" thing to them. I dig the looks a lot. Only got to play one once, it was an MM-only model, felt more like a "classic" bass in my hands than most of the Ibanez catalog. Congrats!

Thanks. I think they were thinking along the same lines when they released the ATK.

Both of those models share a certain pseudo-retro vibe of sorts. This is my '94 ATK-300.... Chunkiest neck I've ever played and an absolute beast at 11.2 lbs.
